This stimulus bill should not be passed without atleast being read by the voting members of congress who will be able to determine what the money is being spent for.

Other issues - I am sure there are a few detainees at Guantanamo Bay who were caught up in the emotional fanaticism of the Koran that could be reeducated and released back into their country of origin. The problem is that these countries are already dealing with all the religious zealots they can handle and definitely do not want anyone returned to their shores with combat experience. The hard core terrorist at Gitmo who boasts of their plans to continue killing American citizens should be teleported towards paradise through a wood chipper. The Islamic world openly mocks our generosity and kindness as stupidity - a weakness they will use to destroy our way of life. It would be totally asinine to allow sworn enemies to reside anywhere within our boarders. The publicized intent and desire of radical Islamist is to control America peacefully - once their boot is on our neck and a gun is placed against our ear. The terrorist take a fatwa to destroy America seriously and to them jihad means war to the death. We had best realize that their intentions do not involve a low impact game of leisure. This is their goal of life. How many previous bombings, oil shortages and threats against America has our government ignored and made absolutely no preparation to defend against over the last 20 years? Shielding our nation by using gestures of kindness just inflames the appetite of our antagonist. The problem is that our military is just too overextended for the current situation and the pentagon along with the terrorists knows it. With a growing number of our young adults unfit for military service because of obesity, drugs and mental or physical disability it is no wonder we are laughingly seen as a soft target. I personally know of 6 high school and college graduates who couldn’t even make it through boot camp much less the rigors of combat. They all returned home to lounge on their parent’s couch and mooch while trying to get unemployment.

At least Bush made sure our middle east enemies knew that there is a price to be paid for attacking America. Iraq and Afghanistan should clearly understand that they are either 100% with us or they will be considered to be contributing to the enemy. What is truly sad is that from the point of view of many Americans our government appears to be in league with the very enemy who is intent on destroying our freedom and way of life. If the goal is to weaken our country here are the steps that should be taken:

1) Dominate the government with individuals who feel they are above the law and do not identify in any way with the American citizens they are supposed to represent. These power brokers should ignore the needs of the country with impunity in preference to what is good for them. Select every cabinet and committee member through political favoritism and vigorously protect each other when caught trading on insider information, stealing, lying and cheating on their taxes. Consistently grid lock congress at all levels through unending party infighting to assure all public confidence in their ability to govern is lost. Make sure every aspect of incompetence is especially prevalent in times of crisis. Have the legislature selfishly continue to spend billions of dollars on wasteful, bloated and unnecessary pork projects with the trillions of dollars borrowed from competitive and potentially hostile nations. Ignore any and all proposals that are actually good for the country and arrogantly do nothing to enforce the laws that are already on the books. Allow their associates, business partners and the wealthy corporate elite who fill their reelection coffers a continuous series of laws allowing them to hide their corporate wealth off shore and avoid even paying their personal income tax. Provide power hungry self indulgent lobbyists access to control both domestic and international business policy. Provide financial criminals protected and unfettered access to the very financial underpinning of the nation whose sole intent is to rape our banking system while raking in personal fortunes. Assure the future generations of America will remain financially enslaved by borrowing additional trillions of uncollateralized dollars against their future while the deficit and government spending spirals completely out of control.

Allow a devastating financial crisis to generate a personal and business credit freeze to stagnate and weaken the economy at every opportunity. Repeatedly pass legislation that guarantees our nation changes from a leading industrial power into strictly a consumer nation that manufactures nothing. Promote the removal of thousands of critical manufacturing jobs offshore. Aggressively pursue and guarantee an unfair trade imbalance in favor of as many other countries as possible. Allow uncontrolled right of entry to a continuous flood of undocumented illegal foreign nationals with free reign to all the financial benefits of tax paying citizens. This should include complete family welfare coverage, child tax credits, Medicare, Medicaid, social security, a free education, subsidized utilities, food and housing allowances. Under fund and under pay the local, state and federal law enforcement infrastructure. Make sure the court system, the presiding judges, district attorneys and penitentiaries are completely inadequate to handle the work load so even repeat murders, rapists, drug offenders and dangerous gang members are routinely released into the general public. Announce that we no longer prosecute illegal alien offenders and they will not be deported even when charged with additional criminal charges.

Impede, restrict and prosecute the very boarder guards who try to protect us and curtail the unending source of additive drugs into the country. Base the country’s survival on foreign supplied oil from nations that support the very terrorists intent on our destruction. Continue to send billions of dollars in international aid to strengthen our weaker enemies to level the playing field so they can eventually oppose us as equals. These are the only steps that come to mind for the moment that will help bankrupt the citizenry, the states and the nation. My one additional comment is that it is obvious that our government holds the working family who lives within their means and pays their taxes in complete contempt. What is your opinion ?

Whistleblowing don't pay . In 2003 I lost my Job at Bear Stearns . When the SEC was looking into mutual fund timing.
I was fired by Bear Stearns because I told them who at the company knew what was going on. I told them Richard Lindsy the President of the clearing unit knew everything about it. How he wanted to setup a master account at company to be able totake in all the orders that came into the firm and put one trade back to the fund company . This would keep them from telling if the client was timing. But since he was one time with the SEC he walked away with nothing on his U5. The same for Ron Suber ,Louis Lebedin now runs the equity prime brokerage business for JP Morgan He was the numbers man for the company . He came up with the way to charge for all the new accounts that where open to help with timing. Peter R. Murphy his part runing the client service side . All these people walked away clean. But I lost my Job . Plus they put things on my U5 . after 23 years with company I was a bad person. In April 2009 I lost my arbratration case against JP Morgan Bear . A case that with all the evidence we had we still lost. I still have a mark on my U5 . You tell me what did I win by whistieblowing. The large broker dealers run and pay Finra I never had a fare chance .
